1. What is an eBook?
An eBook is an electronic version of a traditional print book that can be read by using a personal computer or by using an eBook reader. Popular readers include Adobe reader and Microsoft reader. The most common method of buying an eBook is to download from a website.
2. Do I need to download Adobe or MS Reader?
No. The topicwise eBooks for GMAT Math provided by 4GMAT do not need a specific reader. These are executable (.exe) files. You will be able to read them without the need to install any special software or reader.
3. How many times will I be able use the eBook?
There is no upper limit on the number of times you can open and read the book. You can use it as long as you want. However, the use is restricted to the computer on which you installed and activated the eBook the first time.
4. Do I need to be connected to the Internet to use the eBook?
To activate the eBook for the first time, you need to be connected to the Internet. Once the eBook is activated, you can use it any number of times without connecting to the Internet. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO READ THE EBOOK ONLY ON THE COMPUTER IN WHICH YOU ACTIVATED (THE COMPUTER IN WHICH THE PAYMENT WAS MADE) THE BOOK. i.e., You CANNOT pay for the eBook on one computer and use it on another computer.
5. How long will it take to activate the eBook after the payment is made?
The process of activation takes places instantly as soon as the payment is successfully processed.
6. What happens if I re-download the eBook on a computer after I have activated the book by paying the required amount?
The activation that had happened for the earlier copy will be overwritten. And the system will require you to get another activation that will involve making a second payment. Therefore, PLEASE DO NOT RE-DOWNLOAD another copy of an eBook on the same computer after you have activated the eBook.
7. Can I buy a copy of the eBook and use it in more than one computer?
No. To prevent piracy, the copy of the eBook that is activated to you is restricted for use in only one computer. The computer in which it can be used is the computer in which you made the payment for the eBook. Please note that OFFLINE ACTIVATION OF THE EBOOK IS NOT POSSIBLE.
8. What happens if it is loaded onto a second computer?
The software for the eBook allows you to view the first few pages (usually 4 to 6 pages) of the e book on any number of computers to which you copy it. To proceed beyond the specified number of pages, you will have to activate the eBook. You will be taken to a secured payment gateway that will assist you with the process of completing the activation.
9. What happens if the computer on which the eBook was downloaded crashes and requires a reinstallation of the eBook?
Please note that the eBook software has been designed to enable activation once on a computer. Therefore, if your computer system crashes and on account of that you have to reinstall the eBook with or without reinstalling other software such as the operating system, you will be required to activate the eBook by making another payment.
10. Who offers the payment gateway?

11. Can I print the contents of the eBook?
No. It is not possible to print the contents of the eBook.
